Akis Gavriilidis

is a writer and translator born in Greece in 1964, now living in Belgium. He has published 5 books (in Greek) on Spinoza’s notion of natural law, nationalism, the Greek folk song, the trauma of the civil war, and Billy Wilder. As a member of the Collectif Manifestement he contributed to their Manifeste du dégagisme. Currently he is doing post-doctoral research at the “Makedonia” University of Thessaloniki.
