(b. 1966) is a Belgian philosopher and writer, lives and works in Brussels. He obtained his Ph. D. in Philosophy at the Institute of Philosophy (Leuven). He currently is a Lecturer an Research Coordinator at the Department for Audiovisual & Performing Arts (RITS) of the Erasmushogeschool Brussels. Among his publications are Onzuivere gedachten. Over het Vlaanderen van de Minister-President [Impure Thoughts. On the Minister-President’s Flanders] (Antwerp, 1996), Namen als gezichten. Essay over de faam [Names like Faces. Essay on fame] (Leuven, 1996), Zwarte gedachten. Over België [Black Thoughts. On Belgium] (Antwerp, 1998), Vertoog over verzet. Politiek in tijden van globalisering [Discourse on Resistance. Politics in the times of globalisation] (Amsterdam-Antwerp, 2004). He is the editor (with Herman Asselberghs) of Het museum van de natie. Van kolonialisme tot globalisering [The Museum of the Nation. From Colonialism to Globalisation] (Brussels, 1999).
